I have discovered this solar lantern many many years ago in the UN store and I bought several to gift to friends. Last year, the lantern I bought over a decade ago finally expired on me. So I wrote to Solight to inquire about their recycling program as I don't want to just toss it out in the garbage. I am delighted to find out that they do have a recycling program and that I receive a 30% off coupon after I mail in the retired lantern. Which I did. I purchased another 3 lanterns to gift to students in my sustainability program. Beautiful lantern that worked for over a decade (I use it daily) and I love the fact that you don't have to blow up the lantern because of the special origami design. I live in my van & sometimes ( stormy snowy days in a row) I don't have solar. Now I have battery free lights all night and early mornings. Just awesome! Please donate one for folks in troubled parts of Earth. They change lives for the better.

I love my Solight lantern and have given it to many of my close friends. During the winter we tend to have power outages and the lamps come in very handy. Last December we had a large earthquake, which was completely unnerving and disrupted power for at least a day. It was comforting to have the Solight!

These lanterns are amazing for what we do in our off grid life style! We like how we can charge them from a window as well as outside. Visitors at our farm stay tents also use them for everything they get up to around the space.
Looking forward to trying them on the pond this year!

I absolutely love my QWNN solar lantern! I've been searching everywhere for a sustainable light that would provide a nice aesthetic in any room I used it in, and Solight-Design takes the cake! I bought my first Solight puff in MOMA shop NY in 2010 I think. The design was so exciting at that time. It has just stopped working this year. What an impressive light. it has been outside in Irish winter for past 10 years and lights up the long nights outside my kitchen window thanks I’m buying my second one now and one for each of my family

I first bought one of these to try out and was not disappointed. It gives a good source of warm, workable light all night and still glows in the morning, even when it’s been charging on a dull day. I bought five more!
